Kanji "新": Meaning and Examples
April is here🌸 For many people in Japan, April is a time of new beginnings and new life. The Japanese government's fiscal year starts in April, and the school year starts in April, too, running until March.
At my 4-year-old daughter's school, the new school has started this week. I can still remember clearly the days when she first started going to the nursery. She was 10 months old then and would cry every morning when I dropped her off. But here we are, nearly 4 years later, and this week, she was like, “See ya later, Mom!” and walked into the room as usual. Children grow very fast, really.
So, anyway, going back to the topic... In this post, I will explore the kanji "新" which is often used to convey the meaning of "new" and "fresh," along with some examples of words that contain it.
